Well I've been home for a week. I still don't feel like I've caught up on everything.
As much as Mr Fabulous likes to think that he 'cleans the house' before I come home, he really just does the superficial stuff- so that it looks good when I walk through the door. There were quite a few loads of washing that needed doing, as well as a couple of loads I bought back with me, plus there were the two spare beds, our bed as he had not changed those sheets for the month I was away. Plus towels... I think I did 15 loads of washing in the first two days that I was home! FAR OUT!
Then there is the office work that piles up. Then there is getting back on top of the garden. Then there is the dogs that want some of your attention. Then there is the cat that has been terribly bored and lonely, that wants attention. Then there is the bird that wants some attention. Then there is the husband who wants some attention. Then there is everything else that you're involved in- Arts Council, Rural Fire Service, Brave to Shave, Photography Groups... the list goes on. Add to that cattle work. I want to go away again. OH that's right- I AM!
There is an information morning on in Townsville on Tuesday 19th on MSA (meat standards Australia) which is a grading system for meat. We sell some cattle for MSA and I am interested in what is happening and what I may learn.
Then I am away again for a procedure with my Dr on the 1st March. It is to do with IVF and I have had it before. I will be having a 'scratch', or 'roughing up' of my uterine wall. It has proven to be beneficial for women with 'non-responsive' uteruses. It didn't work for me last time, but that's not to say it won't work for me this time. And at this stage in the game, ANYTHING is worth a go, or two:-)
One of the lenses we bought as my Christmas present arrived the other day. It is a 60mm macro lens! I am still waiting on the 16-35mm wide angle lens. It apparently is very popular and the company I bought them through is waiting for Nikon to send some to Australia. I paid for it in December and it is now February... I am getting rather annoyed!
Anyway, here is a shot of Austin's eye taken with the macro lens. He was getting rather annoyed with me bing in his face! However I love the detail in his eye!
Have a great day!
